We are an award-winning airport concessionaire known for our groundbreaking approach to creating unique, local dining experiences for the modern traveler.

We approach each local community with the same measured respect and thoughtful process as we do in our own community of the San Francisco Bay Area. We seek out the local and authentic spots with cult followings, and we bring them to the airport in the purest form — no dilution, no cut corners, no compromises.

We presently own and operate 23 acclaimed food and beverage locations in five major U.S. airports: San Francisco International Airport (SFO), Oakland International Airport (OAK), San Diego International Airport (SAN), Denver International Airport (DEN), and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).

We are family. Brothers Glenn and Garrett Meyers started High Flying Foods because a love and passion for food was ingrained in their family heritage. Using recipes handed down within the family for generations, they opened their first nationally celebrated Firewood Café in the city of San Francisco. Glenn’s wife Dayna handled the accounting, and the brothers worked together in the restaurant to grow the concept and company.

Fast forward to today, and the High Flying Foods family has grown to nearly 500 employees throughout the United States, with Glenn still at the helm. As a father, brother, and son, he recognizes the importance of a support system and has instilled those family values in the company.

In 2021 and 2022, Glenn’s sons Zac and Colton joined the team, ushering in the next generation of family at HFF. While maintaining the family values central to the company ethos, Zac and Colton will also bring a fresh perspective to High Flying Foods that will push the company forward and inspire the team to continually innovate, evolve, and excel.
